A step-by-step guide to getting subsidized rooftop solar in Delhi, whether you own your roof or share one with your building
Delhi has plenty of sun and lagging rooftop solar adoption, largely because people do not know the first step to take. The government sites that should explain it are difficult to navigate, and the path differs depending on whether you own your roof or share it with an apartment building.
A guide with a separate path for each: eligibility checks and installer recommendations for house owners, and for apartment residents, an explanation of shared-roof rights through the RWA plus an auto-generated request letter to the housing society.
Venika came in with no coding background and deep suspicion of AI, using it mostly to rewrite emails. She wanted this guide to exist for herself as much as for anyone else. She scoped the idea in ChatGPT, shaped the interface in Claude Design and built it in Claude Code, a toolchain she picked up over the eight weeks.
