From Tools to Pipelines
Module 4 gave you individual tools. This module connects them. A pipeline chains tools together so that research feeds structuring, structuring feeds narrative, narrative feeds production, and production feeds multiplication. Every output traces back to a single verified evidence base — the Ground Truth Document.
Five-stage pipeline
Verification runs through every stage and every handoff — not just at the beginning.
Research
Gather and verify the evidence base. Perplexity for broad research, NotebookLM for deep dives into source documents. Week 2 verification layers apply here. Output: verified claims with citations.
Structure
Organize raw findings into a Ground Truth Document — a single reference containing every verified claim, its source, and the date verified. Identify the hero metric and flag inciting incidents.
Narrate
Apply the Story Spine to the structured evidence. Choose the target audience. Apply Module 2 value framing and emotional calibration. Output: a complete narrative arc, audience-matched.
Produce
Create outputs using Module 4's tool stack, selected by audience, channel, and stakes. Output: finished deliverables — decks, videos, charts, interactives, briefs.
Multiply
Decompose primary outputs into derivative assets for different audiences and channels. All traces back to the same Ground Truth. Output: many audience-specific pieces from one evidence base.
When to use the full pipeline
Not every source demands the same depth of processing. The diagnostic is whether your source material is data-dense, temporally fragile, emotionally intense, or structurally complex. Module 4 used Danny Kennedy's keynote. Module 5 uses Dr. Chip Fletcher's — a fundamentally different communication challenge.
